Welcome to our laboratory

In this laboratory, the following subjects have been the main areas of study in recent years.
1,Fatigue mechanisms and new systems for high durable and ecological polymer composites.
2,Adhesive toughness for reliable mechanical structure with high performance.
3,Power transmitting mechanisms for CVT (Continuous Variable Transmissions) using metal and conventional V belts at variable speeds.
4,Crack growth and interactions mechanisms in mechanical structure with shrinking stress.
The laboratory has the following membership (2011)
Professor : 2

Post Doctor: 1
Ph.D. students : 1 foreign student
ME students :18
BE students : 16
All students in this laboratory including the ME and Ph.D students are requested to orally present their works at both domestic and international conferences. Relating to our studies, at least ten papers are published annually in not only major domestic journals but also in a number of international journals.

Our laboratory has some collaboration with several companies to conduct specific researches related to the above subjects. We have also special subjects supported by the National Science Fund provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Japan. Co-sponsorships with industry are welcomed as long as the results will be published in the future. International students are also welcomed. Do not hesitate to contact us.
